The sun was in hiding, but Scott and January didn’t let that stop them from marrying with their toes in the sand on Ogunquit beach. It was a lovely ceremony performed by January’s uncle, and the couple exchanged rings that were handcrafted by Scott’s stepdad from silver dollars.

The reception featured a delicious clambake and a cake shaped like the cruise ship where the happy couple met for the first time!

Yeechin and Mike met at Phillips Andover, although they weren’t high school sweethearts — they waited until they had gone to different colleges, then realized that they were meant for each other!

Their ceremony was at a church just down the street from their high school. We stopped back at Andover for a few quick photos at their alma mater, and on the way from Andover to the reception, the newlyweds decided that they just had to stop for a quick icecream at Richardson’s in Middleton.

The reception was at the elegant Peabody Essex Museum. Yeechin and Mike had requested karaoke in addition to the traditional music, and serenaded each other as their family and friends gathered around; a very sweet ending to a great party!

Jodi is a designer, and her details were just amazing — she designed everything herself. Her color palette was a modern and bold fall theme: brown & orange accented with a fresh fuschia pink. She carried the design theme all the way through her reception details, (even the swizzle sticks for the mulled cider served at the cocktail hour!)

The DeCordova Museum was a perfect, dramatic setting for Jodi & Chris’s wedding…modern & classic at the same time.
